Un dia en me vida project
Reflection |
In this project we were told to use the Spanish vocabulary we have been studying to describe what a day in our life is like. We went into depth on our classes and activities we do. We spoke about what you do in Durango in the summer vs winter. I personally liked this project a lot. I think that it was a good way to apply our knowledge and vocabulary. Along with this it showed us the application of these words we learned into our own everyday lives. This also gave us a good opportunity to practice our pronunciation. Along with this we will see videos of kids practicing their English. I think this will help us to see that language is a universal tool that can be difficult to learn and give us insight on the cultural differences on an average day. Overall I thought this project was a fun interactive learning application.
Salsa smack down
This project helped me to learn new Spanish vocabulary, specifically food vocab. I think this will be incredibly helpful, because food is necessary, and this will allow me to understand how to order or speak about certain foods. I liked this project, because it gave us a look into Spanish culture with a well known Spanish originated food. Something I didn't like about this project was that we didn't get to practice making the salsa before. I think it would have been helpful if I could have worked and revised my salsa. The only thing I would have done differently, is I would have made more salsa. Our salsa got eaten very quickly and it would have been beneficial to have more salsa.
